A straight sofa may suit a single wall, while a set gives you separate pieces to arrange. Check the number of pieces and their individual dimensions. A three-seat label is not a substitute for the usable seat width.

A sectional brings connected seating into one arrangement. Compare the full footprint, orientation and walking routes. Do not assume every sectional is modular or can be rearranged after delivery.
Modern, classic and neoclassical details
Compare arm shape, back height, visible legs and decorative woodwork. Ask about the actual frame, fabric and care requirements. Styling words and a timber name alone do not establish durability, comfort or a warranty.
