Choosing a sofa or chair for a bedroom
Bedroom seating should support the way you use the room without taking over it. Decide whether you need a reading chair, a small sofa or a place to sit while getting ready.
Protect the daily routes
Measure around the bed, wardrobe doors and bedroom entrance. Mark the seat’s full footprint and check any reclining or moving parts if the design has them. Make sure storage remains easy to reach.
Choose for the intended activity
Compare the height, depth and back support in person where possible. Reading and putting on shoes may call for different seating. Avoid selecting only from the color or the styled photograph.
Coordinate without overfilling
Use the existing bed, curtains and floor as the starting palette. Keep side tables and lighting proportionate to the available space. Confirm the exact dimensions and accessories included in the order.
