Dining Table Size for 6 or 8 Chairs
Allow about 60 cm of table edge per person: a rectangular table of 180–200 cm seats six, and 220–240 cm seats eight with a chair at each end. A round table for six needs a diameter of about 140–150 cm or more. Leave about 90 cm between the table edge and the wall, so a chair can be pulled out and someone can walk behind it. KLIK Decor dining sets come with six chairs, except the compact Falak with four, and extra chairs are sold individually.

A table of 90–110 cm wide leaves room for serving dishes in the middle; a narrower table suits a small room but holds fewer dishes.

Add about 90 cm on every side where chairs sit, and about 120 cm where people pass behind them.

Round or rectangular for six?
- Round brings everyone into one conversation and has no corners to bump in a busy home; it needs a squarer room.
- Rectangular or oval fits a long room and a long buffet, and grows to eight more easily with chairs at the ends.
- Oval keeps the length of a rectangle with softer corners, useful where children run around the table.
Seating eight with a six-chair set
A table of 220 cm or more takes eight chairs at about 60 cm each, with one at each end. Our sets come with six chairs, and dining chairs are sold individually, so you can add two. Message our team before you order to confirm the eight-chair layout for the table you choose.
Planning for Ramadan and family gatherings
If the table is for iftar and Eid gatherings, plan for the largest regular group, not the daily one, and keep 120 cm behind the chairs on the serving side. Made to order is delivered in up to 15 business days, so order a few weeks before the season. Delivery and installation are free for every dining set, because each set is above the SAR 3,000 free-delivery threshold.
Chair height and comfort
Most dining tables are about 73–76 cm high, as ours are, which suits chairs with a seat of about 45–48 cm. Check that the chair arms, if any, slide under the table top, and that there is about 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the table.

The buffet and the serving side
The sets include the table and the chairs; a buffet and the styling accessories in the photos are not included. If you plan a buffet or a serving trolley, keep about 120 cm between it and the chairs, so someone can serve while the family is seated, and put the buffet on the side nearest the kitchen.
Lighting above the table
Hang a pendant about 75–85 cm above the table top, centred on the table rather than on the room, and choose a fitting about half to two thirds of the table's width, so the light covers the whole table without glare.
