Ready-Made or Made-to-Order Sofa?
Choose ready-made if you need your sofa within days and one of the sizes and fabrics on offer suits your room: it is usually delivered in 1–7 business days. Choose made to order if you need a particular length, corner side or fabric: it is delivered in up to 15 business days. Many KLIK Decor designs come both ways, at close prices, so the real choice is between time and fit.

How long each takes, in real days
Business days are Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays. Ready-to-ship furniture usually arrives within 1–7 business days of the order, so within about a week and a half at most. Made-to-order furniture is delivered in up to 15 business days, which is about three calendar weeks at most. The time you take to settle your design comes before it, and delivery and installation follow on an appointment we agree with you; before production we confirm the expected delivery window for your city in writing. If you need the room ready for an occasion, count back from the date and leave a few days spare.
Sizes: what each route offers
- Ready-to-ship sofa sets: seven seats (a 220 cm three-seat sofa, a 170 cm two-seat sofa and two armchairs) or eleven seats (three three-seat sofas and two armchairs).
- Ready-to-ship corner sofas: mostly 300 × 200 cm, a few 300 × 300 cm or 360 × 180 cm, and two U-shaped layouts.
- Made-to-order sofa sets: three-seat sofas from 190 to 230 cm, two-seat sofas from 140 to 170 cm, in a larger or smaller combination of pieces.
- Made-to-order corner sofas: from 3.4 m to 8.4 m of seating, with a chaise, an L-shaped return or a U-shape, on the corner side you choose.
Fabric: what changes between the two
A ready-made sofa comes in the fabrics offered on its design page, and every offered fabric is part of the 1–7 business day delivery. A made-to-order sofa can be made in any fabric from the library for that design, which is the route to take for a particular colour or texture. In both cases, see the swatches in a showroom, in daylight, before you decide.
The same design, both ways
Many designs come ready and made to order. On each design page, a link takes you to the other version so you can compare the delivery time and the price side by side.
The two versions of a design are close in price, in either direction; the made-to-order price changes with the size and fabric you choose.
When ready-made is the better choice
- You are moving in, hosting soon or replacing a sofa quickly.
- A standard size fits your room: a seven-seat set or a 3 × 2 m corner.
- You like one of the fabrics on offer.
When made to order is the better choice
- Your wall is longer or shorter than the standard sizes, or you need a U-shape.
- You want a particular colour or fabric for the room.
- You are furnishing a majlis and want one continuous line of seating.
- You want to change the pieces of a set: one more sofa, one less armchair.

Returns, cancellation and warranty
Eligible unused ready-to-ship items can be returned within seven days of receipt; contact us before arranging a return, and the return costs are yours unless agreed otherwise. Made-to-order furniture can be cancelled for a full refund before production begins; after that, change-of-mind returns do not apply, but defects and failures to meet the agreed specification are covered.
